Our Church was founded in 1893
-Resided at the current location for 32 years
-The only African America led church in the city
-Have fed the hungry in the vicinity for 30 years through
Mission Outreach
-Feed 800-1,000 meals on Thanksgiving
-We believe in fellowshipping with churches of all
Denominations and races
-Despite the changes in many contemporary church’s
Programs, we feel evening worship services are important
-We believe in mission, domestic and foreign.
We encourage higher education both Spiritual and Secular.
We are very active in our community and are always willing
To support righteous causes.
Currently maintains two websites, Historic & Prophetic.

Community Supporting Youth - (CSY)

Our goal is to help rescue as many Mistreated, Homeless, Troubled, Abused, Bullying, and Neglected youths from a diverse population to achieve a meaningful and successful transition to adulthood through our innovative programs that will help these youth in areas of social, academic, and career needs.

CSY is a nonprofit organization responding to the needs of the youth in our community, with respect and unconditional love for all.
 
 
 
 
There are many homeless youth who has need of food

Many lack a high school diploma or a GED certificate.

Many are unemployed and in want of a job.

Many have a history of Foster Care or were placed in some form of Residential Placement program.

Many have reported history of physical and/or sexual abuse.

About 40% of homeless youth are under 18.

About 75% of them use some form of drugs or alcohol as a way to forget their experiences of physical abuse or sexual abuse of some type.
 
 
 
 
A percentage of them die every year because of assault, illness, or suicide.

Over 50% were told by their parents to leave home and they did not care about them.

Then National average of a teen becomes homeless is 14.7 years old.

There will be 1 in 7 youths between the ages of 10 to 18 years old will run away.

Sexually transmitted diseases are high with homeless youth.
 
 
 
 
We are asking the help of our community to help us with volunteers and donations.

Your help will make a difference in the lives of the youths of our community.

Community Supporting Youth was founded in 2004 by Annette Rivers, being a public concerned citizen who had observed increasing issues, pregnancy, and the number of youth who were becoming involved in the criminal justice system.

Community Supporting Youth would help to keep teens from penetrating the juvenile justice system.

For Reporting Risk of Harm to Clients and Others; staff with reasonable cause to believe that a risk exists of serious, immediate, physical or emotional injury, or death may inform law enforcement agencies and persons who may be affected by threatened action.

Staff may also take steps to facilitate or secure the client's hospitalization, if warranted.
