018 – Having Faith in Our Lord Jesus Christ:

What does Faith means to you and all of us:

One of the first requirements of the Lord Jesus Christ is Faith in Him.

1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity , these three; but the greatest of these is charity .

Faith is a very spiritual gift and faith in Jesus Christ is necessary to our salvation to live with our Heavenly Father.

All the prophets in the bible have said that salvation comes to none, except it be through repentance and having faith on our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Hebrews 10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Having faith is a hope for things which are not seen, but they are true and by the power of Holy Ghost the substance will be revealed to you.

With faith, it is the principle of doing and action and the power will motivate you in your daily activities and dealings with others.

We need to learn and study the scriptures so we could obtain more wisdom and knowledge on faith, hope, and charity.

James 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

When we plant a seed into the ground and water it and feed it, we would expect to see it grow and we would have accomplished a great wonder and beauty.

We do things throughout the day, in hopes of accomplishing things we cannot see the end results.

Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

All through the bible, many events happened through faith.

By faith bring miracles.

John 3:2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

Acts 6:8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

Galatians 3:5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

If man (Baal) created man and made the world, then follow him, but if the Lord Jesus Christ created man and made the world, then follow Him.

The choice is yours on who you want to follow.

1 Kings 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

With the power from the Lord, famines have come and gone, seas have been calmed, visions were opened to them, many prayers were answered, which all of these events were done through the power of simple faith.

What are the ways we can increase our faith:

How do we develop any other skills?

How do we become good at a musical instrument, cooking, painting, fishing, construction, school, work, or any other skill?

We locate the information or data and we read, study, and then we practice and we begin to work at it.

The more we do, the more we improve.

The same is for faith, hope, and charity.

If you want to improve your relationship with Jesus Christ and your faith in Him, you must work hard at it, with reading the scriptures, studying it, pray about it, fast about it, listen to the Holy Ghost, and most of all; work at it.

Faith is like a seed you plant, it take effort to make it grow, like the prophets did.

Job 8:6 If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.

Job 8:7 Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.

You faith will grow and increase as your heart desire the thing of the Lord.

If you would awake your whole being to want to experiment upon the scriptures and His words, and use a particle of faith, even if it is a small desire to believe, and let this hope and desire work inside you, that you give place in your heart for the words of the Lord.

Now let the word of the Lord be planted in your heart as a seed, then that seed being true, and cast out any unbelief, and do not resist the spirit of the Lord and the Holy Ghost, the seed or the word will begin to grow, and you will feel these in your heart, swelling, for it is a good seed will enlarge your heart and begins to enlighten your understanding and your wisdom.

For this would increase your faith and love for the Lord.

To increase your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, you need to act on your desire to have faith in Jesus Christ.

The best way to increase our faith is to repent of our sins and forsake them, with fasting and praying to our Heavenly Father in hopes, with great desires to help us grow.

It is more than just ask only with no efforts.

James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

James 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

We need to show our faith by helping others which are in need which is charity.

The more we read and study the scriptures the more we will learn of God and what He expects of us.

As we grow, we need to thank Him.

The more we thank Him, the more we will increase our faith, humility, and knowledge.

With faith, hope, and charity, we become like Him.

Remember, faith precedes all miracles.

How unwise it would be to ask the Lord to give us knowledge without any effort or desire on our part to learn.

We must put forth our best efforts and faith in the hope and pray for increasing our faith in Him.

Faith is like a seed, when planted in our hearts, increase our desires to be like Him, we too will see miracles begin to blossom.

We want to be prosperous without paying our tithes.

We want to come closer to the Lord without praying and fasting.

We need something like rain when it is very dry or we want peace without observing the Sabbath day and treat it as a holy day and without keep any of the commandments of the Lord.

We can read and study the scriptures and go to church to come closer to the Lord.

As all have not faith, we need to be diligent and teach one another words of wisdom.

Seek wisdom, seek learning, have a desire of the Lord and your faith will grow.

Faith and our actions in Christ like love, brings miracles.

What are some of the Blessings that come with Faith:

With faith, miracles are created, like seeing angels appear, gaining the gifts of spirit is given, your prayers are answered, and we can become sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father and much more.

When the people are strong with faith, it brings to us apostles, and prophets.

1 Corinthians 12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

1 Corinthians 12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

1 Corinthians 12:29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?

1 Corinthians 12:30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

1 Corinthians 12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

1 Corinthians 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

1 Corinthians 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

1 Corinthians 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

1 Corinthians 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

1 Corinthians 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

1 Corinthians 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

1 Corinthians 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

1 Corinthians 13:8 Charity never faileth:…

Miracles appear in the world when faith increases, and miracles disappears from the world when faith decreases.

Through faith as it increases, we will obtain all the necessary knowledge and wisdom in our Lord Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father, and live worthily will be able to obtain eternal life.

Seek the communications with the Holy Ghost to help guide you to gain faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father.

How long is Eternity?

This life is very short compared to Eternity, this is a test for us here.

Whether we live a few moments in the mother’s womb or 150 years old, compared to the Eternities, this life is nothing, we are here to choose the right and marry and raise a family of children unto God.

Families are forever with God.

The Apostle Paul talks about the 3 Kingdoms or Glories.

1 Corinthians 15:40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial : but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

1 Corinthians 15:41 There is one glory of the sun , and another glory of the moon , and another glory of the stars : for one star differeth from another star in glory.

Three Kingdoms of Glory:

There are three kingdoms of glory: the celestial kingdom, the terrestrial kingdom, and the telestial kingdom. The glory we inherit will depend on the depth of our conversion, expressed by our obedience to the Lord's commandments. It will depend on the manner in which we have "received the testimony of Jesus".

Celestial Kingdom – Like the - Sun :

The celestial kingdom is the highest of the three kingdoms of glory.

Those in this kingdom will dwell forever in the presence of God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ.

This should be our goal: to inherit celestial glory and to help others receive that great blessing as well.

Such a goal is not achieved in one attempt; it is the result of a lifetime of righteousness and constancy of purpose.

The celestial kingdom is the place prepared for those who have "received the testimony of Jesus" and been "made perfect through Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, who wrought out this perfect atonement through the shedding of his own blood".

To inherit this gift, we must receive the ordinances of salvation, keep the commandments, and repent of our sins.

"All who have died without a knowledge of this gospel, who would have received it if they had been permitted to tarry, shall be heirs of the celestial kingdom of God; "Also all that shall die henceforth without a knowledge of it, who would have received it with all their hearts, shall be heirs of that kingdom;

"For I, the Lord, will judge all men according to their works, according to the desire of their hearts".

"I also beheld that all children who die before they arrive at the years of accountability are saved in the celestial kingdom of heaven".

There are three degrees within the celestial kingdom.

To be exalted in the highest degree and continue eternally in family relationships, we must enter into "the new and everlasting covenant of marriage" and be true to that covenant.

In other words, temple marriage is a requirement for obtaining the highest degree of celestial glory.

All who are worthy to enter into the new and everlasting covenant of marriage will have that opportunity, whether in this life or the next.

Love Heavenly Father, Love the Lord Jesus Christ, and Love the Holy Ghost, Be Beloved, Be Holy, Bowels of Mercies, Do All Your Duties, Forbearing One Another, Forgiving, Helping the Poor, Humbleness of Mind, Keep The Commandments, Kindness, Longsuffering, Meekness, Repent and Forsake

Terrestrial Kingdom – Like the - Moon :

Those who inherit terrestrial glory will "receive of the presence of the Son, but not of the fulness of the Father.

Wherefore, they are bodies terrestrial, and not bodies celestial, and differ in glory as the moon differs from the sun".

Generally speaking, individuals in the terrestrial kingdom will be honorable people "who were blinded by the craftiness of men".

This group will include members of the Church who were "not valiant in the testimony of Jesus".

It will also include those who rejected the opportunity to receive the gospel in mortality but who later received it in the postmortal spirit world.

Telestial Kingdom – Like the - Stars :

As one star differ from another star in glory.

Telestial glory will be reserved for individuals who "received not the gospel of Christ, neither the testimony of Jesus".

These individuals will receive their glory after being redeemed from spirit prison, which is sometimes called hell.

Anger, Blasphemy, Concupiscence, Covetousness, Discord, Disobedience, Doing Contrary to the Laws of God, Envy, Evil, False Witness, Filthy Communication, Fornication, Gluttony, Graven Image, Greed, Hath, Did Not Honour Thy Father and Mother, Idolatry, Inordinate Affection, Keep the Sabbath Day, Laziness, Lust, Lying, Malice, Mischief, Neglecting, No Other Gods, Piety, Pride, Shalt Not Bear False Witness Against Thy Neighbour, Shalt Not Commit Adultery, Shalt Not Covet Thy Neighour's Property, Shalt Not Kill, Shalt Not Steal, Sloth, Take Lords Name In Vain, Triumphing over Others, Uncleanness, Wicked Imaginations, Wrath, and Etc.

Perdition :

Some people will not be worthy to dwell in any kingdom of glory.

A place of outer darkness.

They will be called "the sons of perdition" and will have to "abide a kingdom which is not a kingdom of glory".

This will be the state of "those who know [God's] power, and have been made partakers thereof, and suffered themselves through the power of the devil to be overcome, and to deny the truth and defy [God's] power".

Hands that Shed Innocent Blood

Denied the Holy Ghost

The Lord Jesus Christ, wants the best for you in these Latter-days and it is this sealed book just for you which is not the Bible. The Bible and this other Book will be one in His hand in the Last Days before Armageddon and go to all nations round the world.

Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

In the Sacred and Holy Name of Jesus Christ, Amen
