014 - The Priesthood Organization:

The Priesthood Is on the Earth, Again; Today; As Promised:

1 Corinthians 12:14-31
(The body has need of all its parts: Melchizedek Priesthood; Prophet, 12 Apostles, Seventies, Patriarchs, Bishops, High Priests, Elders, and Aaronic Priesthood; Deacons, Teachers, Priests, and Auxiliaries groups, with all of the Keys and Authority to act for the Lord Jesus Christ on the earth again.)

Like the Church in the past was governed by the priesthood as it is today.

In the past, the priesthood was a very important part of the Church and with God’s work.

The everlasting priesthood of our Heavenly Father was always connected with God’s work.

This priesthood, continues in the church of God in all generations, and is without beginning of days or end of years.

His priesthood is upon the earth today.

Men young and old are baptized into the Church (8 years old and older), and when they are judged worthy, they are ordained to the priesthood (12 years to 18 years to the Aaronic Priesthood [Deacon, Teacher, or Priest] and 18 years and older to the Aaronic Priesthood or Melchizedek Priesthood.).

Hebrews 5:1 For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God,…
(The priesthood is to serve others and it is not for gain and greed.)

Priesthood brethren are given the authority to act for the God and do His work on the earth, today.

Only 2 types of Priesthood:

How did these 2 different priesthoods get their names?

One being the Aaronic Priesthood and the other being the Melchizedek Priesthood.

Hebrews 5:4 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.
(We do not go to school, courthouse, pay or etc, to become a priesthood leader, but are called of God to become a church priesthood leader because of our righteous living, serving others, and full of peace for all others.)

Hebrews 5:6 As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
(When ordained by other worthy priesthood holders, it is forever in righteousness only.)

Hebrews 5:10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.
(Called of God and no other ways or means.)

Hebrews 5:11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
(Man was not ready for the fullness of the gospel.)

Hebrews 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
(The Bible is milk, another Gospel or Book is meat and needs to come forth in the latter days, in the end days, and has to go out to all nations and people, [Rev. 14:6])

Hebrews 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
(The Bible is the milk; like line upon line, here a little and there a little.)

Hebrews 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
(Another Gospel or Book [Like unto the Bible, but stronger commandments to live by.] in the latter days, before Armageddon.)

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
(The Bible is the foundation, but the other Gospel or Book is the way to perfection.)

Hebrews 6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
(It takes the real priesthood to do all these ordnances.)

Hebrews 6:3 And this will we do, if God permit.

Hebrews 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

Hebrews 6:5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

Hebrews 6:20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

(Even Jesus Christ set the example for all men to follow and obtain the

Hebrews 7:1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;

Hebrews 7:2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;

(Pay Tithing, 10%)

Hebrews 7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
(The Melchizedek Priesthood is here from the beginning to end, everlasting, the priesthood was named after a man that was righteous and full of peace for all others.)

Hebrews 7:4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.

Hebrews 7:5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:

(The Aaronic priesthood, are to collect from the people as a duty to do and it is a commandment.)

Hebrews 7:6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.

Hebrews 7:7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.

Hebrews 7:8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.

(By paying Tithing, we may live.)

Hebrews 7:9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.

Hebrews 7:10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.

Hebrews 7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

(Levitical priesthood or Aaronic priesthood is for the temporal matters of the world and the Melchizedek Priesthood is for the spiritual matters, of higher order to act for God.)

Hebrews 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
(The need for the higher Melchizedek Priesthood was necessary for higher spiritual matters.)

Hebrews 7:13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.

Hebrews 7:14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

Hebrews 7:15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,

(Even Jesus Christ became a High Priest after the order of Melchizedek Priesthood.)

Hebrews 7:16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
(This Melchizedek Priesthood is eternal and everlasting.)

Hebrews 7:17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
(An everlasting priesthood.)

Hebrews 8:3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices
(Everyone worthy male member can be ordained a High Priest after the order Melchizedek Priesthood, like unto Jesus Christ.)

Hebrews 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
(Our body is a temple of God, and with being ordained a High Priest and truly worthy, we will be changed to a perfect tabernacle.)

Hebrews 10:21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
(Even the Prophet, which is the head of the whole world church of Jesus Christ, is a High Priest, be ordained of God and having the Melchizedek Priesthood.)

The first Priesthood was called Melchizedek:

King Melchizedek was a great high priest, that the God name His highest priesthood after this king.
(Like Kennedy airport is named after J.F. Kennedy.)

In the past the priesthood was called “The Holy Priesthood, after the Order of the Son of God”.

To avoid the repetition of His name and out of respect and/or reverence, the priesthood was called after the order of Melchizedek, for short.

The Melchizedek priesthood being the higher priesthood; spiritual nature of things.

The second or lesser priesthood:

The lesser priesthood handled physical and worldly things.

This lesser priesthood is an appendage to the Melchizedek priesthood.

This lesser priesthood is called the Levitical or Aaronic priesthood.

This priesthood was conferred on Aaron and his sons throughout all their generations.

Exodus 40:15 And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
(The priesthood is from God and not man.)

Holding the Aaronic Priesthood a worthy male member has authority to administer the outward ordinances of the sacrament and baptism.

Holding the Melchizedek Priesthood all worthy male members have the power and authority to lead the Church and direct the preaching of the gospel in all parts of the world.

Melchizedek Priesthood holds the administering of all spiritual work.

Melchizedek Priesthood leaders direct the work done in the temples.

Melchizedek Priesthood leaders preside over the affairs of the Church.

Melchizedek Priesthood leaders preside over the missions around the world.

The Lord, Jesus Christ has chosen a prophet and is the presiding high priest over the Melchizedek Priesthood.

Why are the Keys of the Priesthood necessary:

Isaiah 22:22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
(Priesthood Keys are a special gift from God to do His work here on earth before man.)

Matthew 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
(The Prophet of God has all the Keys to act for God which no man can take this upon him self.)

Revelation 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
(The Keys are a gift from God and no man can do different from God.)

What are the keys of the priesthood?

Melchizedek Priesthood leaders receive keys.

All worthy male members are ordained to an office in the priesthood.

In worthiness, all male members holding the priesthood in general is the authority given to man to act for God.

When ordained to any degree of the Priesthood has the authority delegated to that priesthood holder.

It is necessary that every act performed under this authority of the priesthood, shall be done at the proper time and place, in the proper way, and after the proper order.

The given power of the priesthood of directing the proper labors constitutes the “Keys of the Priesthood”.

In their fullness, the keys are held by only one person at a time on the earth, the prophet.

The prophet may delegate any portion of this power to another worthy male member, in which case the worthy male member holds the key of that particular labor for the Lord.

In this way, the leadership of a temple, the bishop’s congregation, the leadership of a mission, the leadership of a quorum and etc., each holds the keys of the labors performed in that particular body or locality.

Anyone holding the priesthood is not increased, no one has more priesthood then any other worthy member in the group.

That priesthood leader holds the power of directing the official labors performed within the group only.

Why do you think God uses the priesthood keys to safeguard His Church?

What are the Offices and Duties of the Aaronic Priesthood:

How does the Aaronic Priesthood holders, serve in that calling?

As the Aaronic Priesthood is conferred on a worthy man or worthy boy, he is ordained to an office in that priesthood calling.

Patriarchs are ordained by General Authorities, being from the Prophet or Twelve Apostles, or by local leaders when they are authorized by the Twelve Apostles, to give “Patriarchal Blessings” to members of the Church.

Patriarchal Blessings give us some understanding of our callings here on earth and personal guidance from God.

Patriarchal Blessings are the words of the Lord personally to us and to give us help to lead us back to Him.

Patriarchs are also ordained High Priests.

The 12 Apostles act under Prophet’s direction.

Apostles are also ordained High Priests.

Priesthood Holders Organization?

The Quorums of the Aaronic Priesthood:

The Jesus Christ has instructed that the holders of the priesthood be organized into Quorums.

A quorum is a body of brethren holding the same priesthood office.

There are three quorums of the Aaronic Priesthood:

The Deacons Quorum:

Consists of up to 12 deacons

The Bishop calls a leadership from the members of the deacon’s quorum.

The Teachers Quorum:

Consists of up to 24 teachers.

The Bishop calls a leadership from the members of the teacher’s quorum.

The Priests Quorum:

Consists of up to 48 priests.

The Bishop presides over the Teachers quorum.

The Bishop be a High Priest and belongs to the High Priests quorum.

When the quorum is exceeded the number for the quorum, it can be divided.

What are the Quorums of the Melchizedek Priesthood:

At the Lords top Church level, the church members of the Prophet, his 2 Councilors, and the 12 Apostles form a quorum.

There are several quorums of Seventies.

The Lord has set up local groups on a Church level around the whole world.

The Melchizedek Priesthood bearers are formed into quorums.

1. Elders Quorum:

Each local Elders Quorum; is instituted for standing ministers; however the Elders Quorum, may travel, however the Elders Quorum are ordained to be standing ministers for the Lord.

Each Elder does majority of their work near their own homes within the boundaries of their assigned area.

The Elders Quorum consists of up to 96 Elders.

They have an Elders Quorum President and his 2 councilors.

When the quorum is exceeded the number for the quorum, it can be divided.

2. High Priests Quorum:

Each High Priest does majority of their work near their own homes, this includes any patriarchs and the bishops within the boundaries of their assigned area.

They are leaders over a larger area and his 2 counselors are the leadership of this quorum.

The high priests quorum, in each wards are organized into a group with a group leader.

What are the importance of Priesthood Quorums:

The Lord has created the Quorums to help strengthen individuals and families.

When a man or boy is ordained to the priesthood of the Lord, he becomes a member of a priesthood quorum in his local home area.

It is expected that he being worthy, will hold membership in a quorum of the priesthood according to his office in his local area and within the boundaries of their assigned area.

When the priesthood quorum functions properly, the members of that quorum are encouraged, blessed, fellowshipped, and taught the gospel of Jesus Christ by their leaders and each other.

An individual may be released from his church calling or callings; his membership in his quorum does not change.

A membership in a quorum of the priesthood from the Lord is a sacred privilege.

What is the purpose of the Auxiliaries to the Priesthood:

The different Auxiliaries to the priesthood are to help strengthen individuals and families and to prepare to meet the Lord.

In helping the Lord to carry out His plan, the Lord uses the auxiliaries organizations in His Church in strengthen them, this work is under the direction of the priesthood leaders.

The different auxiliaries are:

1. Relief Society – a women’s organization

2. Young Women

3. Young Men

4. Children under 12 – Primary

5. Sunday School – Youth and Adults

6. Nursery

These different organizations serve under the direction of a Ward Bishopric.

These organizations are called auxiliaries to the priesthood.

When we serve the Lord and others, we are helping individuals and families be strengthened.

1 Corinthians 12:16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

Isaiah 48:6 Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them.

(His sanctuary or temple is His House.)

Jeremiah 17:13 O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

(Many false churches would deceive even the very elect. For Jesus Christ would have the two Priesthoods and all the different callings of the Priesthoods, organizations, Temples, and much more. For false churches would have portions, bits, and pieces of a church and call it of Christ.)

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

(It has to be a big Church to go to all nations around the whole world, and having the same organization, keys, power, and authority to do in Jesus Christ name.)

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
(His restored Church in the latter days.)

(Jesus Christ organized His Church from the beginning to today.)

(All of the same Priesthoods and Offices are the same from the beginning.)

John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

(Many do not know the scriptures and what they tell of the last days about His restored Church and its Keys, Priesthoods, and Offices for helping the individual and families to be strengthened.)

2 John 1:8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

Exodus 28:2 And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.

(Those holding the true Priesthood of Jesus Christ will have a holy garment made and wear all the time and it is for an added protection unto those that wear the holy garment.)
(Even Adam and Eve wore a holy garment made of skins for a Priesthood protection, too.)

Exodus 28:3 And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron's garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.
(The holy garment was consecrated unto the Priesthood holder that was ordained to that office.)

Exodus 28:4 And these are the garments which they shall make; a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.
(The holy garment is needed as part of his calling in the priest’s office. No man serving in the priesthood can take this upon himself. For there are many false churches.)

Exodus 28:41 And thou shalt put them upon Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him; and shalt anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office.

Exodus 29:9 And thou shalt gird them with girdles, Aaron and his sons, and put the bonnets on them: and the priest's office shall be theirs for a perpetual statute: and thou shalt consecrate Aaron and his sons.

Exodus 39:41 The cloths of service to do service in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons' garments, to minister in the priest's office.
(To do Temple work, the person must have Holy Garments and Special Cloths to enter there in, otherwise without these Holy Cloths and Holy Garments, you would be going against our Lord Jesus Christ and be an antichrist.)

Exodus 40:13 And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.

Exodus 40:14 And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats:

Hebrews 7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

Hebrews 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

(It was the Levitical or Aaronic Priesthood at first, but then came the Melchizedek Priesthood which caused the law be changed. Line upon Line, here a little and there a little.)

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
(All worthy Priesthood males and their wives and children will be with Jesus Christ for a thousand years in the MILLENNIUM of Peace.)

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

For there is a Kingdom like the Sun, like the Moon, and like the Stars, as one Star differ from another Star.

(Which Kingdom do you want ????????????????????)

In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

1 Corinthians 15:40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial : but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

1 Corinthians 15:41 There is one glory of the sun , and another glory of the moon , and another glory of the stars : for one star differeth from another star in glory.

The Lord Jesus Christ, wants the best for you in these Latter-days and it is this sealed book just for you which is not the Bible. The Bible and this other Book will be one in His hand in the Last Days before Armageddon and go to all nations round the world.

Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

In the Sacred and Holy Name of Jesus Christ, Amen
