012 - The Atonement (Justice and Mercy):

The Atonement Is Necessary for Our Salvation:

Is the Atonement necessary for our own salvation?

The Lord and Savior came into this world, to be crucified for the world, and to bear the sins of all people in the world, and to sanctify the world, and to cleanse if from all unrighteousness, that through Jesus Christ all might be saved, from the beginning to the end.

Through the great sacrifice, Jesus Christ made to pay for our sins, and overcome death is called the Atonement.

This great sacrifice is the most important event that has ever occurred in the history of all mankind.

This important event, the atonement should be made, for Heavenly Father gave us this great plan of the Eternal God there must be atonement made, or else all mankind must perish, for we are all fallen and are lost, and must perish except it is through the atonement of Jesus Christ and none other.

With the Fall of Adam, this brought two kinds of death unto mankind into the world: one, which is physical death and the other, which is spiritual death.

The Physical death is the separation of the physical body and spirit body.

The Spiritual death is the separation from the present of our Heavenly Father.

The Atonement of Jesus Christ, our Savior, these two types of death, first, our bodies and our spirits would be separated forever, and second, we would never have a chance to live with our Heavenly Father again.

With the Plan of Salvation, which is wonderful, this plan was merciful to save us from our physical and spiritual death, but our Heavenly Father loves us to give us a chance to return.

Heavenly Father’s plan was for a Savior to come here to our world and to ransom and redeem us from our sins and from a final death.

Because of our weaknesses and the many sins we commit, whether we knowingly commit sin or unknowingly commit sin; we could not free ourselves from sin.

Jesus Christ was the one who was sinless and He has power over death.

Jesus Christ Atoned for our Sins:

Why was Jesus Christ the only one who could be our Savior and Redeemer?

For Jesus Christ was the only person who could be our Savior, from the beginning of the world.

Our Heavenly Father had chosen Jesus Christ to be our Savior.

Jesus Christ was the only one who was begotten of our Heavenly Father and an earthly mother, and thus gave Jesus Christ the power over death.

John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

John 10:17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

John 10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Jesus Christ lived here on earth and He never sinned.

Without sin, this made Jesus Christ a worthy person to be sacrificed to pay the price for the sins of others that would repent.

Jesus Christ suffered, bled, and died for our sins, which is the atonement:

Can you imagine yourself in the Garden of Gethsemane or on the cross as a sacrifice and all the suffering for others, or even as a witness?

Jesus Christ atoned for all of our sins.

We do not fully understand how He suffered.

Luke 22:41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,

Luke 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

Luke 22:43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

Luke 22:44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

Luke 22:40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.

Luke 22:45 And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow,

Jesus Christ suffered a painful death, being nailed to a cross as thousands had.

History states that the Romans had killed 10’s of thousands to millions on the cross, one story told of bodies were lined on the road from Jerusalem to Rome.

Jesus Christ, being without sin, suffered a spiritual and physical pain for us.

Jesus died as a martyr for us by proxy for our sake; He suffered for our cause, a willing victim for our sins.

In the Garden of Gethsemane He suffered for our sins and on the cross He died as a martyr for His commandments and His words of truth.

Heavenly Father has love for all His children that He would send His only begotten son to suffer great pain, bled, and die for all of us, a great sacrifice.

John 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

John 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

By the atonement and resurrection of Jesus Christ, it brings to us the resurrection to us all.

For Jesus Christ, on the third day after He was crucified on the cross, His crucifixion, He took up His body again, and He became the first person to be resurrected, for all who died before Him slept in the grave.

Matthew 27:50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.

Matthew 27:51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

Matthew 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

Matthew 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

1 Corinthians 15:12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

1 Corinthians 15:13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:

1 Corinthians 15:14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

1 Corinthians 15:15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.

1 Corinthians 15:16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:

1 Corinthians 15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

1 Corinthians 15:18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

1 Corinthians 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

1 Corinthians 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

1 Corinthians 15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

1 Corinthians 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

1 Corinthians 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

1 Corinthians 15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

1 Corinthians 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

1 Corinthians 15:27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

1 Corinthians 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

He had risen.

Matthew 28:1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

Matthew 28:2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

Matthew 28:3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

Matthew 28:4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

Matthew 28:5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

Matthew 28:6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

Matthew 28:7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

Matthew 28:8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

Matthew 28:9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

Matthew 28:10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

When Jesus Christ was resurrected, His spirit had reentered back into His body again, which will never be separated again.

Jesus Christ had overcame the physical death.

The same as Jesus Christ was resurrected, our own spirits will be reunited again with our own bodies,

For our body and spirit will be reunited again, which never to be divided again, we will live eternally, which is called immortality.

From Adam to the last person on this earth will be resurrected, both old and young, both bond and free, both male and female, both the wicked and the righteous.

Having Faith in Jesus Christ to be Saved from Your Sins:

Faith allows us to believe in the atonement of Jesus Christ can save us from our sins.

With the Atonement of Jesus Christ, it makes it possible for us to overcome our spiritual death.

All people, both male and female, will be resurrected, but only those who accept the Atonement of Jesus Christ will be saved from spiritual death.

We have the free agency to accept Jesus Christ’s Atonement by placing our faith in Him and keeping His commandments.

When we repent of our sins, and forsaking our sins, and we are baptized with the power of the Priesthood by complete emersion under the water, and receive the Holy Ghost with power of the Priesthood by laying on the hands upon our heads and keeping and obeying His commandments, we overcome the spiritual death.

We will become faithful disciples of Jesus Christ, in our Heavenly Fathers kingdom.

When we repent and forsake our evil ways and keep His commandments, even the least of them, will are then forgiven and cleansed from our sins.

Then we are prepared to return and live again forever with our Heavenly Parents for the eternities.

Jesus Christ had suffered for our sins for all who would repent, that we might not have to suffer as He did.

Jesus Christ did His part in the plan of Salvation to atone for our sins.

To do our part which is to make His atonement for our lives, we must keep and obey His commandments and repent of our sins.

It’s simple, right, only if we have faith in Jesus Christ, and with the help of the Holy Ghost, it can happen.

The eternal law of justice can be fully satisfied and mercy can be fully extended to us for our sins, but it takes Jesus Christ to do it, no one else can.

We have a friend that can help us from our sins.

Jesus Christ knows all of our sins.

Jesus knows we are all sinners.

Jesus Christ loves us and wanted to help us, but we have free agency to chose.

The Atonement of Jesus Christ steps in between us and our sins.

He keeps us from spirit prison and hell when we repent thru mercy.

But our sins demand justice.

Thought we cannot pay justice.

We need to turn our lives to our debtor, Jesus Christ, and keep His commandments.

Then we are save from prison and Jesus Christ will show mercy to those who repent and forsake evil and keep His commandments.

Jesus Christ has set the terms of our debt to Him.

He said it will not be easy, but it will be possible for us to return.

For Jesus Christ will provide the way back.

And we will not go to spirit prison and hell.

For Jesus Christ will pay for our debt of sin.

We are extended mercy when we repent of our evil ways.

That way both laws are fulfilled.

Jesus Christ is our mediator, justice had claimed its full share, and mercy was fully satisfied.

Our sins and evil ways are our spiritual debts for us.

Without our Savior and Mediator, we would have to pay for our own sins by suffering spiritual death.

Because of Jesus Christ, if we will only keep His commandments, even the least commandments and repent, we will be able to return to our Heavenly Father.

Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

We all can be healed from our sins through Jesus Christ.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Jesus Christ came into the world to save us from the sins of the world.

Matthew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 18:5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Romans 5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Romans 5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

Romans 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

Romans 5:15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

Romans 5:16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

Romans 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

Romans 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Romans 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

Romans 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

Romans 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Romans 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Romans 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Romans 6:8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

Romans 6:9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

Romans 6:10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

Romans 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Romans 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Romans 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Romans 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

Romans 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Romans 6:19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

Romans 6:20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

Romans 6:21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

1 Peter 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

1 Peter 1:20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

1 Peter 1:21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

1 Peter 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1 Corinthians 15:41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

1 Corinthians 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

1 Corinthians 15:43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

1 Corinthians 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

The Lord Jesus Christ, wants the best for you in these Latter-days and it is this sealed book just for you which is not the Bible. The Bible and this other Book will be one in His hand in the Last Days before Armageddon and go to all nations round the world.

Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
