004 - We Have The Freedom to Choose For Ourselves:

Our Free Agency Is an Eternal Principle

Why do we have a free agency?

Our Heavenly Father has allowed us free agency to choose for ourselves.

The Scriptures and our Prophets have told us we could choose between “What is Right” before God and “What is Wrong” before God, otherwise, between “Good and Evil”.

We have only two choices here on earth, liberty and eternal life or captivity and death.

We can follow Jesus Christ or we can follow Satan.

With our free agency, we get to choose and act for ourselves.

Coming down here to earth, we get to have many choices in this life.

We get to choose for ourselves and not be “Forced Choose”.

When we use our free agency, we feel better and are happier in choosing the right.

The war in Heaven was about our agency to choose Heavenly Father’s way or Satan’s way.

Satan did not want us to have free agency.

Satan wanted to control our choices and he wanted the honor to be his.

When Satan was “Cast Out of Heaven for Rebelling”, his main goal is to destroy our free agency here on earth and to commit sin.

So that we would not be able to return to our Heavenly Parents; who lives in the highest kingdom, the Celestial (Like the Sun is the highest, which is different from the lower kingdoms of the Moon and the Stars which is the lowest kingdom.).

1 Corinthians 15:40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
(There is a difference in glories.)

1 Corinthians 15:41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
(They differ from each other in glory and depends what we do here.)

Why is our free Agency so important to our Salvation:

With our free agency, we get to choose for our selves good or evil, which make it a testing stage in our lives.

Our Heavenly Father wanted to test us to see if we will do all things; which we are commanded to do by the scriptures.

We are responsible to our selves and others with our “Free Agency” it could have a small impact or a major impact.

We have to answer for all of our wrong choices.

When we are in the habit of making the right choices, comes greater happiness and greater blessings from our Heavenly Father.

Our faith in our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost, will grow and we gain better wisdom and knowledge, and strength.

Other will trust us more, because our character will become stronger each day.

As we make the correct choices in Heaven and with our Heavenly Parents, we earned the right to come to this earth.

Our Heavenly Parents love us dearly and want us to “Return” back home.

With a veil over our minds and having a our agency, in making the right choices, we gain more faith, understanding, strength, wisdom, knowledge, and power in doing good, so we can return in glory and happiness and to be with our Eternal Family.

Remember: The wages for Sin, Eternal Bondage, and a much lower kingdom.

We are not perfect and our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, knows that, so we need to repent and forsake them.

As we keep the commandments, and repent of our sins, we begin to become like Heavenly Father.

We need trials, tests, and oppositions to make it necessary for us to choose the right and become more Christ like in our choices.

Our Heavenly Father said there is opposition in all things.

We need opposition to choose good or bad, and without that, we could not choose.

Without opposition, there is not happiness or misery.

Our Heaven Father allows Satan to temp us to do evil.

Satan if the father of all lies, he deceives us, uses disguises, and blind us to the truth, and Satan will lead as many that would listen to him, into misery and enslavement for our sins.

When we commit sin, we limit ourselves on the true blessing from our Heavenly Father, which will bring happiness.

It seems like there are many restrictions upon us, but they are for our greatest “Joy, Happiness, and Peace of Mind”.

We are not free from our consequences of sin, once we have partaken of sin.

We must pay the price and our kingdom or glory will be the lowest.

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
(Our agency allows us to sow good or evil, and we reap good or evil.)

Galatians 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
(When we seek the gutter with our mind, heart, soul, we sow evil, but when we seek the spiritual things of Heaven, we reap Heavenly things and everlasting life and joy.)

Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
(Never give up, even [example; while in a small boat going down the rapids in rough water, do not jump out of the boat, for it will be worse]. In due time, you will get your full blessings.)

Galatians 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
(We are to help one another)

Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
(Choose The Right, Clean the inner vessel, in thought and deeds.)

We must have a desire to read the Scriptures, Pray always, stand Watch and flee from Sin.

In today’s world, we have technology like Ipads, Iphones, and etc. with millions of topics to distract us from the scriptures.

Satan know we like Nature, Sciences, Games, Movies, Technology, Learning, and etc, and without balance in our life, we rarely seek out the scriptures to study them.

We need to ask our Heavenly Father to help and guide us to withstand sin.

We will not be tempted beyond what we are able to withstand.

1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
(All temptations are common to man, be faithful and true to God.)

Following our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and the commandments, will lead us away from the dangers of Satan’s power.

Keeping the commandments will lead us to exaltation, joy, and happiness for the eternities.

Study the Scriptures for Freedom form Satan and Eternal Death.

Satan wants us to change our ways tomorrow, but tomorrows come and go, but we forget to change, then it will be too late, we need to choose today to change.

In the Sacred and Holy Name of Jesus Christ, Amen
