002 - We are part of a Heavenly Family:

You Are A Child of Our Heavenly Father:

The Bible teaches us that we are in His image and in His likeness.

Our Heavenly Father is our God and Creator.

We all are the literally His sons and daughters.

All men and women; as a spirit, we are begotten and born of our Heavenly parents and we grew up to maturity just as our older brother, Jesus Christ did and to progress we had to come to earth.

We lived with our Heavenly parents before coming to earth to be born of our earthly parents.

We came down with our strengths and weaknesses and to receive mortal physical body which is temporal; our goal is to have an immortal body after death.

We are all brothers and sisters from the spirit kingdom of our Heavenly parents.

No mater where on this earth we are born and no matter what race, we are all brothers and sisters and we need to treat each other as our Heavenly parents want us too.

We can inherit the Heavenly qualities of our Heavenly parents and have the same powers as being their heirs only in righteousness and repenting of all our sins.

With the Atonement of our Lord, Jesus Christ, we can receive the plan of salvation and great joy, and return to our Heavenly parents.

Where did we come from?
Why are we here?
Where are we going?

We are spirit children of our Heavenly Father and our Heavenly Mother; sons and daughters.

We had a pre-existent before our mortal life on earth.

We lived before the earth was.

We had spiritual bodies and it had personality, gained understanding, grew in knowledge, we had intelligent, we created many friendships and made promises with our Heavenly Father.

We also had our agency to choose.

We had weaknesses and strengths and gain talents.

All things (including us) were first created spiritually in heaven, before we were created physically here on this earth.

Genesis 2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
(Every thing was created in heaven before it came to earth. All things (including us) were first created spiritually, before being created physically here on this earth.)

Then the big day came!

There was a great Grand Council in Heaven and we all participated in this meeting.

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
(Those that are natural minded can not receive anything spiritual and unable to discerned the things that are spiritual.)

Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
(Those carnally minded leads to death, but those who are spiritually minded gains eternal knowledge and life and great peace of mind.)

1 Corinthians 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
(Man on his own speak of worldly things, but the Holy Ghost teaches spiritual things which gives greater knowledge and wisdom.)

1 Corinthians 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
(There is a spiritual body and we all have one.)

Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
(Heavenly Father gave direction to Jesus Christ to create all things in heaven and on earth. All of the people that come to this earth were there or are still there and waiting to come down in physical bodies. Man and Woman were all created before Adam and Eve came to earth. Because all things were created before Heavenly Father rested on the seventh day.)

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
(Later, after all was created in heaven and earth, Jesus Christ created Adam and Eve.)

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
(If all things were created in the beginning, that means, we were created in the beginning, just learning all we can and waiting for our turn on earth.)

Our Heavenly Father called many great leaders in heaven who prepared themselves before they came to earth to receive their earthly mortal bodies.

Our Heavenly Father foreordained and appointed them beforehand, these prophets as messengers from God.

Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
(Before Jeremiah the Prophet was born of the flesh, he we in heaven and Heavenly Father had ordained him to be a prophet, because he was a great leader in the pre-existence with our Heavenly parents. Because of the things that Jeremiah did there, like chose to do good and increased his learning and knowledge and progressed to become a prophet.)

Everyone who has a calling to preach, look after, and minister to the people of the earth was before ordained to this holy calling in our Heavenly parent’s home where we lived before here.

Remember, we have our free agency to choose the any calling to serve or not.

We were all different in heaven where we lived.

Because of our strengths and weaknesses, we all gained different talents, skills, aptitudes, and received different gifts.

We can know more about our potentials here on earth when we repent of our sins and ask the Holy Ghost to help us and study the scriptures.

We all have a veil over our memories of our life before coming to earth and we would forget our heavenly home.

This was necessary so we could exercise our free agency to choose between good or evil without the memory of living with our Heavenly parents.

Our Heavenly Father knows our needs and what our wants are before we came here.

Our Heavenly Father truly cares for us and if we give Him a chance, He will guide us back to Him.

We came down to earth when we are most needed and where we can learn the most from this life to be able to return to heaven again.

We are here to bless and help others as others are here to help and bless us.

In the beginning we had great council in Heaven, which our Heavenly Father gave us, a plan to go to earth to be tried and tested; to gain experiences, and to become like Him.

In our pre-mortal state we could only grow so far and had to come to earth to develop the godlike qualities that He has for us to become like Him.

We had to gain a physical body by coming to earth, for we only were spirits.

Then in the Morning of the First Resurrection or Final Resurrection when our physical body die and our spirits leave, we will be reunited again into an immortal body and be like our Heavenly Father, if we are righteous.

If followed our Heavenly Father’s plan, and we were resurrected, we could be like our Heavenly parents; with the all powers in heaven and all the powers on earth, and have our own spirit children just like them.

We need to grow in faith in our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost.

As we study the scriptures and pray about it, our Heavenly Father gave us the Holy Ghost to help us recognize the truth while on the earth.

John 18:37 … Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
(Jesus Christ came to the earth as a King and He will return as a King, and if we are true to God, we will know it.)

In the beginning at that great council in heaven we learned our purpose for progression here on earth so that we could have the fullness of joy.

But at the same time we learned that some of us would be deceived and lied too.

Some of our Heavenly Father’s children would follow wrong paths and they would lose their way back home to heaven and God.

We would have many trials, hardships, grieves, regrets, failures, letdowns, sorrow, painful experiences, loss of someone, stress, sadness, separations, difficulties and many more problems while on the earth.

We knew from our Heavenly Father that this would give us the experience we needed to grow like Him and for our good.

These trials would increase our faith and gain greater love, if we chose so or it can defeat us from returning home.

These experiences would help us to learn to have more endurances, more patience, and show more love and charity to others.

Hebrews 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
(We are given trials to grow)

Hebrews 12:7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
(We need to learn to endure our trials to become like God.)

Hebrews 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
(If we do not have trials, we would be like spoilt child doing badly.)

Hebrews 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
(Having our Heavenly Father correct us because He wants us to return unto Him again, because He loves us all.)

Hebrews 12:10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
(Many would chastened us for there own reasons which are bad, but our Heavenly Father profits when we return home with Him to be partakers of heaven.)

Hebrews 12:11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
(Without being chasten seems a pleasure for awhile but will grieve us later because of sins, but if we chose the right, we are the partakers of the peaceable fruits of heaven; when we choose the right.)

Hebrews 12:12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
(During our trials, we are to lift up ourselves and look to God a trial to grow from and to increase our faith in God.)

Hebrews 12:13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
(We need to stay on the straight and narrow path which leads back to our Heavenly Father and home.)

Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
(These experiences would help us to learn to have more endurances, more patience, and show more love and charity to others which we will be able to see God.)

Hebrews 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
(Beware there are many who will deceive you from your path and cause you lots of trouble in life.)

Hebrews 12:16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
(Many will lead you away and get you to sell your birthright for sin.)

Because of our weaknesses we all have would sin. (except little children are not accountable for their sins.)

Through our Lord, Jesus Christ, keeping all of His commandments, we could overcome our sins, by repenting of our sins and forsaking them.

We could be exalted and be like our Heavenly Father in heaven.

KJV Scriptures

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
(If all things were created in the beginning, that means, we were created in the beginning, just learning all we can and waiting for our turn on earth.)

Genesis 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
(Our Heavenly Father had ended his work and we were part of the work He did. We were with our Heavenly parents in heaven before Adam and Eve came to earth.)

Genesis 2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
(When the heavens and the earth were created, so were we created at that time.)

Genesis 2:6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
(The earth be prepared for us to come down to get physical bodies.)

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
(Breathed = put into; Breath Of Life = Spirit [per Jewish translation]; So Adam Spirit entered the physical body and became the first living human being.)

Genesis 2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
(After Adam’s spiritual spirit interred the physical body.)

Exodus 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
(In the beginning before the earth; we were created, we maybe millions of years old? Because the earth is millions of years old.)

Job 38:4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
(We were before the foundations of the earth, before it was created, we were with our Heavenly parents, learning much before coming here on earth.)

Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
(We all shouted for joy when the earth was finally created and with the plan of salvation and joy from the great Grand Council in Heaven, we wanted to come to earth so bad, it was soon enough, but we had to wait for our turn on earth. We all sang together great joy.)

Zechariah 12:1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
(Before the earth was created we were created before the earth.)

Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

In the Sacred and Holy Name of Jesus Christ, Amen
